Summer's On It's Way, I Need A Tan!

Now that summer is peeking around the corner, I need to start tanning.  Back in California this wasn't a problem, all I had to do was sit on our porch for an hour, but now that I'm in Pennsylvania it's a lot harded.  Since my skin is very light, I need a tan, because if I don't get one, my skin will start turning lighter.  It's really wierd, because the Pennslyvania sunshine doesn't sffect my skin at all, but back in California, I could easy get my skin to turn browner.  Does any one else go to tanning beds?

I am tanning now.  I will go for the next two months then once a week for the remainder of the summer and tan outside.  I never us tanning beds in the winter.  I burn really bad, so by using the tanning beds I get a base so when I do start going in the sun I wont burn.

Go on Survivor. Get your tan that way  :tongue:
 
I don't go to tanning beds, yet, but I will fairly soon. I used to live in Miami and I grew up there, so I was always near the beach, but now I'm in BFE, North Carolina, there's not much sun to get that tan as easily.

Be very careful about tanning beds.  They might be OK to start for a base, then get some sun outside when it isn't extremely hot!
We both tan easily and never completely loose it in the winter.  Guess it's because we've been doing summer activities for so many years.
...........BUT, we're still careful starting a new Season, like today.

be careful tanning period.  It really does affect your skin negatively and increases your chance of skin cancer significantly.  Be good to your skin and it will last a long time!

Not as warm here.  Only 89*  
 But a convertible ride to Barkingham, sitting on a bench and watching our fuzzy children run around and play, and a relaxing, floating nap in the pool should help the tanning process!

it's a bit cooler since last week here but I soon the heat would definitely kick back again just like the last weeks of March.....
 
it's a great time to go to the beach!!!!    
 
but I don't want to get tan... I'm already tan and I get darker when sunned..... I tend to hide from the sun when gettin' in the beach....

I was at the swimming pool today and tried to get a tan. Not very successful.
