Either Boone, or the girl that Jack was talking to in the bar who was on the back of the plane.. can't remember her name right off hand... played by Michelle Rodriguez.

Just got through watching and....WOW!

I thought the opening scene tonight was someone's flashback--60's music and 70's technology.  Tell ya what...that show has got some GOOD writers!

I meant that I thought the opening scene was a flashback until the explosion.

I've just been over to ABC's "Lost" website where there are message boards.  If you're a huge "Lost" fan and can spare the time, some of the plot theories are amazing!

I don't know that I want to spoil this!!  LOL  (but i am weak and will probably go there anyway LOL)

I'm with you Rupey, i was trying to figure out who's flashback it was.  At first i thought it was Jacks til I saw him inject something into his arm, to old for Boone and Charlie, so i thought Locke from the 70's.

this is one i definitely want to watch again because i think i missed some important stuff.

Also, its obvious desmond has only been down there a few years given his convo with Jack, so why the hell does he think its still the 70's?

I don't want to spoil the show by reading the spoilers but trying to guess where this is going is fun.  It was a great show.  I'd already read about this show  :smash:, and still enjoyed it.  Desmond is a creepy character: good or evil?  Why the Carpenters?   Good stuff!

OMG... I loved IT!!!  Am so angry with myself for not taping it while I watched - because I have so many things I missed!!!  Totally missed that it was Shannon's dad!!  Couldn't make out exactly what Walt was saying - that Desmond guy is just a total puzzle (I knew it was him when I saw him in the stadium, kept thinking why the hell is he on that island in the hatch?  Why quarantined?)

Seriously thinking about looking for a torrent to download so I can rewatch it - I think they should put each episode on a DVD and sell it the day after it airs.. they'd make a FORTUNE!!  All those LOST fanatics would be waiting in line at midnight to buy it!!

I'm totally avoiding The Fuselage at the moment, because I know it would be a 12 hour ordeal, I'd not be able to tear myself away.. LOL (If you are totally addicted, check The Fuselage - there are already six pages of posts for last night's episode.. Shocked)

That wasn't The Carpenters, it was Mama Cass - that was the original from the 60's (am I showing my age here?)

Very interesting opener, indeed, and I'm the one who
last at the end of last season it was beginning to drag.

Well now, it's sure off to a great start.
hehehe, we tivo'd it and I can watch it again,
especially the opening!   Wink

ARGH!!!  Angry    I taped the season premier episode for my DH since I got him addicted to LOST when we purchased the season 1 DVD's.

But sadly, something happened and it did not tape ;-(
I am so disappointed Cry

Does anyone know someplace online that he can view the episdoe? Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

Just in case you missed it (or like me, want to watch again) the season premiere will be shown again Wednesday before episode 2

I'm seriously considering buying a DVD Recorder just to record LOST - is that a sad addiction or what?  Sad
