"Everybody Hates Hugo" - Disturbing memories from Hurley's past cause him to struggle with a task he's assigned inside the hatch. Meanwhile Sawyer, Michael and Jin discover the identities of their captors, and Claire uncovers a shocking piece of information about the fate of the raft, on "Lost," WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 12 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Editors please note: This program will repeat on Saturday, Oct. 15, from 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET.

"Lost" stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as the mysterious island man, Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Maggie Grace as Shannon, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie, Terry O'Quinn as Locke, Harold Perrineau as Michael, Michelle Rodriguez as Ana Lucia and Cynthia Watros as Libby.

Guest starring are L. Scott Caldwell as Rose, Sam Anderson as Bernard, Kimberley Joseph as flight attendant, Lillian Hurst as Carmen, DJ Qualls as Johnny, Billy Ray Gallion as Randy, Marguerite Moreau as Starla and Raj K. Bose as Pakistani shop clerk.

"Everybody Hates Hugo" was written by Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz and directed by Alan Taylor.

"Lost" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio via SAP.

A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.

According to the Canadian preview, Claire finds the bottle of notes. The newest advert is quite intriguing... like they're all in some sort of tunnel or hatch? Wonder if all the "stations" connect underground??

Well, this was one of those episodes that I'm not quite sure how I felt when it was all over... some really touching moments (Hurley and his friend; Bernard asking about Rose) and some really amusing moments (Cluck You and most everything between Sawyer and Ana Lucia... they are great together!!)

Anyone else notice that the Randy at Mr. Cluck is the same Randy from Locke's box factory? I didn't catch it, but read it online later.. and then went back to check. They are the same person... so I'm guessing the same character?? The only thing we could figure is maybe, after the meteorite hits Mr. Cluck, Hurley felt guilty/responsible for everyone losing their job... and hired him at the box factory??

All in all a decent episode... am in the middle of the second watching now... I've gotten where I watch at least three times... have a former student I talked to this past weekend.. she has a notebook she keeps notes in while she watched.. LOL.. I taught them well... if you have an obsession, totally obsess.. LOL.

I noticed it the second time around...

The meteorite was mentioned in the first episode... when Jack and Hurley were talking. Jack asks him about the numbers (before they even go into the hatch), because Hurley was saying "don't light it, the numbers are bad." Hurley told him about the numbers and how he got them from the guy in the psych ward, and played the lottery and won and then bad things happened - his house burned down, the place where he worked got hit by a meteor - then corrects himself and says "well, actually a meteorite"...

It looks like another hatch... the door they went through looked like the "front door" to the hatch that Jack and company are in. Also, there's a screencap somewhere online (I'll see if I can find it again) of another DHARMA symbol - only this one has an arrow. Someone with HDTV got it and posted it at photobucket. It was on the wall just inside the door where Ana Lucia took Sawyer, Jin and Michael. Also, the door there looks like the one that Hurley took Rose through...

oh okay, I thought Rose in this episode was going to be some character that wrecks havoc on the Survivors simply because people were saying that she kind of disappeared. So when Bernard was asking about a person named Rose, I thought that he was going to say something like Watch out for that person..

Bernard is Rose's husband, the one she has said from day one is alive, and no one believed her.

The reason Rose "disappeared" for a while - she didn't disappear on the show, just was never featured in any episodes because her part was supposed to be a minor one... and she was doing a play at the same time... so, she only showed up when she had lines to speak... was never "in the background" so to speak...
