Hmmm...wonder how Michael got away from the captors?

I've got goosebumps in anticipation of tonight's episode.  I'm anxious to find out what the deal is with Jin speaking English!

And will Sun be killed off in this episode?

They said in several interviews over the summer that one of the cast members would not come to an agreement with them over salary, and they agreed to pay that cast member the rate they wanted for 2 episodes and then to kill them off and have no more flash backs involving them again.  Now, by my count, every regular in the series has been in 2 or more episodes this season with the exception of Sun.  Sun was also the only main cast member that did not attend the Emmys.  With the exception of a couple crowd and background shots, which could have been shot at any time, she has only been featured in 1 episode so far this season and this next week will feature her again.

That would make sense, from what i have heard, Sun is actually a really poplular Korean Movie star. That might explain why she wanted a bigger salary.

But has Sun really only been in one episode this season?
I know she was at the end of last weeks, but i can't remember before that.

That would be really upsetting, especially were she to die before the return on Jin.

However, all the rumors I have heard point to another person, who I can only rememeber being in one episode as well.  Will have to go check

According to the cast, she wasn't there because she was filming on location for the show.

Also, the producers stated, after that rumour floated around, that they never said that... so...

we'll see... Smiley

So the producers are stating that was a rumor now?  Because I recall seeing it somewhere reputable, like in an interview with TV Guide over the summer, or it might have been Entertainment Weekly.  It wasn't like an overheard thing either, it was a direct answer from someone in an interview.  I guess I could be mistaken, but I'm sure I read that in an interview.

Supposedly the comments came from a radio interview... but after it was scattered about online, the creators made a comment that they were never on the radio show, and that they'd never said anything about someone being killed off due to contract dispute.  I've been planning to go find the information, but it was PTO week at school and MY grade level (third) was the "program"... great fun, lots of 8/9 year olds dancing and singing and a week of rehearsals... by the time I got home every night, I totally forgot to go find it... maybe I forget about work now, and get back to the "important stuff" like LOST.. LOL

Someone does get "Lost permanently" according to the previews for the next episode. So let the rumors rage on!  Wink

My prediction is that it'll be a minor character, not one of the main survivors.  It'll be like when they said they were going to kill one of the Housewives and it turned out to be Mrs. Huber.
