Thanks to Netflix we rented this film last night and i know it got panned I disagree. If your looking for action or stunts FORGET it its not that kind of film. This film is a mind game flick. Kevin Bacon plays the unseen voice on the phone and Collin Farrel his victim. We get to see Mr. Farrel's real acting talent in this film and its great. If you enjoy a good story this is your film. I really cared about this man;s problem and those he cares for. Nowadays films rely on sex action stunts blood gore (not Al) to make a film excting this one had me glued to the screen throughout. A must see if you ask me

wow.. this was a great film...

it offered a very original storyline... though the whole story revolved in a very distinct place, a phonebooth, it brought suspense, thrill and excitement...

yes it's mr. sutherland, not bacon..

the way they made the film, its cinematography and topic is great... and it really showed how things go back to you on whatever you did, say karma.

i may say that this movie required a low budget, yet it is highly recommended... Grin

THis is the scary thing.. in highschool I used to have a crush on him bigtime.  Now that I'm older and married and he's on 24, he looks ok, but he's definitely not my type...however.. my mother now has the hots for him.  How weird is it to have your mother develop a crush on your old crush?  Huh

I agree with Elijah Wood with his comment on the movie.  I didn't like it either.  It was interesting but a movie done almost entirely on one location doesn't show much excitement.  I do commend the scriptwriter for actually making an entire story about a man in a phonebooth.

The film wasnt full of excitement and is was suspense and the mind games being played by killer. This film required ACTING not blood gore fire SEX things getting blown up etc etc. This film showed the true talents of Farell no gimicks just him!
