The Shawshank Redemption

I am up late because I just stumbled upon this movie yet again.  And I can never turn away.  No clue how many times I have watched it. This time, however, I did not cry which is a first.

I caught it about halfway through which was nice.  Andy was just starting the library and played the record album over the PA.   What a remarkable movie. Actually I think, in my top 5 favorites of all time.

I have to agree, this is really a tremendous movie.  I have watched it several times myself, and it's one of those films I can't turn away from if I happen to be channel surfing and stumble on it.

S. King being my all time favorite author, I love the job they did with Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. Casting was perfect in both.

OMG, I cried like a baby at the end of Green Mile.  Just broke loose and sobbed.  Especially the scene with the mouse.   Cry

Its funny how many times we can see one movie, isnt it and never get board with it.  I to loved the Shawshank Redemption, an amazing movie.  I will never watch the Green Mile again tho, I cried to much.  Great movie as well.

I think one of the things about Shawshank that keeps me coming back is that while parts of it were disheartening, it really ended on such a hopeful note.
