Just an FYI, the Blockbuster Video's here have gotten word from corporate headquarters to get rid of all video tapes. Their stores are moving to DVD format only.

I noticed last night when I dropped a movie off, they have all video tapes in the store on sale, buy 2 get one free.

If you don't have a DVD player, now would be a good time to get one. If you have a VCR, it wouldn't be a bad time to check out the sale and pick up some tapes at a cheap price.

Hmmm... I guess they are promoting DVD as the only universal video viewing method... I see the VCDs following shortly. I mean they dont even sell VCDs much anymore!

But oh well, its for the best I guess. Why settle for less? Besides, DVD players/DVD ROMs are not as expensive as they used to be. Another prideful movement for mankind - take that aliens!
