I just watched this last night on DVD......now am I just really stupid and missed something important or was there a whole bunch missing from this movie...I loved the Matrix, Reloaded was ok, but this was just bad, disconnected,dissapointing....i was hoping it would pull the whole thing together.... Sad

you know I still haven't bothered to see either the second or the third movie.  I have heard nothing but bad stories and reviews about them and I just loved the first one so much that I can't see it doing anything other than making it so I feel disgruntled when I do rewatch the first one from time to time.

LoL...I read one review where they talked about how after all the special effects, they apparently only had $10 left over to pay the script writer...

You didn't miss anything..I had to have several people explain it to me after i saw it too, the first one was great, they should have left it there, the other two did nothing to add to the story and the acting just got worse, the ending was ok, just illogical....

angel... i agree with you

sequels should exceed its prequels... but none had (except maybe Xmen2).... the Matrix was a great epic... but 2 and 3 are just over extended movies with tooo much graphics but content wise... it lacked a lot... so was their acting...  they disappointed me as well after the original opening up new ideas and giving a trademark in fashion and stunts  light the slow-mo flying bullets and Keanu's bullet dodging stunt.... these wasn't even able to get as high rating as the original...;d

*Cough* Aliens

I still have not seen Reloaded or Revolutions. I keep wanting to see them just to wrap up the story but the reviews were not that great (outside of effects) to warrant me renting them. I still want to see them, it will just take some time though.

Ok, ok....let me be the dissenting voice here.... I LOVED both 2 and 3....the deeper correlation to computer programming was just COOL!!!!  The symbolism of the keymaster...the whole ending just WORKED for me......I don't know...it might be a bit "geeky"...but the whole parallel to how computer programs and virus' and code manipulation and hacking works just was related in such a surreal interpretation....

well... i'm an IT person (dubbed as boring people)... M2 just drowned me with to much talks than action... some action stunts also are over extended... though I liked that Highway scene... Grin
