LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - "Troy" star Brendan Gleeson and British sitcom star Frances de la Tour have just been added as faculty members of two wizardry schools in the upcoming "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire."
Gleeson and de la Tour will portray Mad-Eye Moody and Madame Maxine, respectively, the film's producer David Heyman tells the Children's BBC Newsround.

Alastor "Mad-Eye" Moody is the latest wizard to fulfill the rotating position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts, where Harry and his friends attend. Headmistress Olympe Maxime is a half-giantess who oversees the rival wizards' school, Beauxbatons Academy.

In the Mike Newell-directed "Goblet of Fire," Harry has returned for his fourth year at Hogwarts where he meets the pupils from Beauxbaton and Durmstrang and gets distracted by his crush on a fellow student.

Gleeson, 48, currently plays the cuckold Menelaus in "Troy" and will next be seen in M. Night Shyamalan's thriller "The Village" in July. De la tour, 59, is best known for her British series "Rising Damp" as Miss Ruth Jones, a role she reprised in the 1980 film of the same name.

"Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" is the third film adaptation of J.K. Rowlings best-selling series and will open super-wide on Friday, June 4.

I agree they countries on the bottom of the list dont get a fair deal The Prisoner of Azkaban was already delayed by 6 months because of a cast death.

Hmm, I don't recall it being delayed because of his death, but I suppose that could have played a part in it. It was primarily delayed because the parents of the primary children actors wanted their kids to take some time off from shooting films back to back, to go to normal school for a little while and have some "normal" childhood time before starting filming again. So, the parents pretty much banded together and negotiated a wait before filming...as a parent, you can't really blame them.
