This does contain spoilers - nothing that will ruin the movie for you if you have read the books, but if you're not reading the books you may want to skip this review since it does talk about some plot items.

I know...me either.  For those of you who do not wish to read the spoilers, to summarize the review, he said the script was great, the acting was much improved and the special effects were top notch and that this is the film all other Harry Potter films should aspire to be as good as.

My friends have all been making fun of me for how excited I've been for this movie.  I washed my Muggle T-Shirt today so it will be ready for Friday (or Thursday if our theatre has a midnight showing!)

I just saw it 10 hours ago with my siblings in the theatres; but without spoiling the movie, here is my quick pros and cons:  
 
pros: better effects; funnier; overall the best of the three movies; decent acting; one monster is scary than most other versions!!!; a healthier and faster Dumbledoor!; not too much of those uniforms!
 
cons: even to me and my bro who havent read the book - twists are kinda obvious; you cant tell how much days went by, it seemed to happen overnight, and not a full semester unlike others; not much side stories according to my sis as to compared to the book - too linear to the main storyline; not really a climatic ending. (I guess most of this are for the book complain or maybe they just didnt add it in the movie); Ron didnt have much useful role.

I'll just say that, i was disappointed, i thought the previous were better... the story just kinda jumped when nearing the end... comments accepted after you have watched the film...

well.. i have seen Harry yesterday and I would say that it is a great!... I liked it... though for someone like me who haven't read the book... I found some scenes predictable....
 
yet... it is still a very nice film... the actors played well.. the shots were made artistically, I find it that this offered more scenic views of hogwarts and its neighboring mountains compared to the prequels... I got to see how the places outside hogwarts look like...Grin  edited to add that this is more fun to watch than the previous Harrys and I think this is far better... Grin
 
the casts looks more mature now and many of them who were chubby are now slimmer and some who were cute were cute no more but hermione looks very very pretty...Grin
