Movies for a rainy afternoon!

Since it has been raining non-stop for a few days, we went to the dollar move yesterday and spent the afternoon.

First we saw "Starsky & Hutch", and laughed all through it! Leads are Luke Wilson, or the other brother Roll Eyes

& Ben Stiller. Also listened to a great soundtrack of songs from the 70's. Very entertaining! The "real" starsky & Hutch made a brief appearance near the end. Cool! Grin

Next we watched "Secret Window" , starring Johnny Depp & John Tuturro. A slow movie, but held our interests by the strange events that took place.
Great surprize ending!

After two buckets of popcorn, a giant coke and a candy bar, that's how we arrived back home by 6:30 p.m.
A good day together!

BTW, James bond / thief movies are awesome on a rainy day.

We were in luck since it ws the first time we've ever gone there. Tuesdays are fifty cent, yes .50 days. Two movies cost us just over 2.00 with tax. I even asked the ticket seller if he was sure that was the right amount!

The other one we would have liked to have seen is "Hidalgo", maybe next week. For one day, I was ready to get outside in the light, also beginning to feel claustrophobic!

It just rained here SOOOO HARD earlier. Rainy season is starting here in the Phils., as summer is there in US. Anyways, I always prefer watching old movies when its raining, or even movies with a rain scene! Like "Babe" earlier!

Also for entertainment purposes that goes well with rain, watch, Jurassic Park 1, Predator 1, You Got Mail, Sound of Music("these are a few of my favorite things... la la la la la la la *ahem*")... well that will do for now...
