The Notebook

This afternoon we went to see this movie.  I had read it several years ago, long enough that the movie was not ruined for me by knowing too much of the story.

Each scene held our attention, as neither of us wanted to miss one moment.  The young actors as Noah and Allie were very talented and believable.
Not to mention the seasoned Garner and Rowlands.

To tell you anymore might ruin it for those wishing to see this moving film.  I will say we watched this one and thought, "this could be us someday".

When the movie ended my husband leaned over and kissed me on the cheek and said, "I Love You".
Perhaps this gives you the idea of how moving this film truly is!

oopss.. didn't noticed this was previously posted.. hehehe... Cheesy

yup a sad film... but a beautiful one.. (I like sad or emotional endings)... and the actors are indeed good.... this has been dramatic with fun moments...  this shows how strong love could be.. love surpasses time.... love moves mountains... Cheesy

this movie was just shown here in Manila just last week and I'm very glad to have seen it....

I'd like how the cinematography was done... especially the opening scene with the man rowing in a river and the mangrove area filled with swans.... Grin

Wasn't that a beautiful sight, a lake filled with white swans!
We felt it was cast perfectly.
Yes, it was a beautiful love story.

Saw this movie this afternoon with my girl. And though at first I was dreading it since I dont like watching love stories - esp. in theatres - BORING! I find myself liking it. Its quite predictable but still good. My girl was crying like Hell but she loved it a lot!

And guess what? Garner(old Noah) used my name - Duke!
