If you've not read any reviews yet, don't!  I had read several online and ended up solving the twist almost before the movie had gotten started.  My daughter, on the other hand, had read nothing and never saw it coming.

It was very good!  If it being scary is keeping you from going, don't let it.  I was hesitant because I don't like "scary things."  It's more suspense than scary, much like Sixth Sense was.

It will definitely cause conversation after the fact... dd and I haven't stopped talking about it all afternoon!!

I'm sorry, but my Lord, this was the worst movie i have ever paid for. Its almost like M. Night walked up to me and said "please may i steal your money?" and i said, "yes, please, take it all, and my date's as well!" I want to pull a south park and ask for my money back. Lies, the Lies still ring in my ears. Please, feed a homeless child, save the sloth, or buy porn, i don't care, just don't give this man your money.

It probably wasn't his choice in how it was marketed, that's not how hollywood works.  It's usually the producers and the studio who determine how it will be marketed and what the commercials will show.

I agree, and I honestly think they are going to regret the marketing.. they have targeted the wrong audience.
