Ok, so the wife and I are a little behind in our viewing. I looked and did not see a thread for this, or the search did not work properly.

Anyway, I watched this last night and I have to say I loved it. Very plot heavy with about 10+ story lines going on all at once but by no means does it feel like they are trying to cram in too much. On the contrary I think each story was woven into the others well and they added to each other.

The casting was superb and the acting was great. Some good solid chuckles at points and many smiles throughout the whole movie. Now, I am a big fan of British comedies and some people just don't like them but if you do I found this to be one of the better films I have seen in a while, as far as romantic comedies goes.

Thanks Borad, I love British humor Cool  They are quite different!

My husband and I both watched this not too long ago too and liked it.  Some very good laugh outloud moments.

I watched it again last night with my wife (she fell asleep the other night). She loved it too and she is not a huge fan of British humor.

Is it just me or was there an awful lot of US bashing in that movie?  Wink

I liked some of the story lines a little more than others,  I liked the little boy, and the one with the Italian made, and my favorite was the one with the guy and his best friend's wife. I just thought that was really sweet!! Smiley Tongue

I agree. I think they could have left out the young guy who went to Wisconsin but the rest of them we all good, some better than others (boy, portugesse maid, PM's sister, girl taking care of her mentally ill brother).

Was it just me or was the secretary just a little spooky looking?
