Ebert hated it.  I don't care.

If you're looking for good, clean family entertainment, this is a safe movie.  There isn't vulgar language, violence, or sexual innuendos.  We have two children, 10 and 13, and it was a good movie to take them to.

The girl who stars in the movie is just beautiful.  I like Julie Andrews and while it is a little sad to realize that she doesn't have the singing voice or the youthfulness she possessed in her "Sound of Music" days, she was delightful in the movie.

The plot was a little stupid and predictable but overall the movie was very nice.  It doesn't quite meet up to the level of the first movie "The Princess Diaries," but they did leave room for the possiblility of another sequel.

If you liked the first one (which we also saw) then I think you'll like this one.  It's like a new chapter.  And Anne Hathaway (who plays Mia Thermopolis) is more beautiful than ever.

Well I might see it with my girl, but reading the plot, yeah, its kinda predictable already with maybe a few twists here and there.

So which is better in your opinion guys?
