I just saw this on TV because I wanted to see the Left side of things. Anyone else see this.

Yes, I've watched this film.  I thought it was very good and raised some valid arguments.

Yes, we did watch it as a matter of fact, only a few weeks ago.  It does raise some questions.  A free gun with opening
a bank account?  REally now?  The South hasn't done that yet! Undecided
Are our guns still in the case?  YES

I thought that Mr. Moore did a great job on presenting Columbine. I didn't like how he presented taking guns are bad and the NRA speech guy was completley edited. I was there at that speech in Colorado and I specifically remember the man saying sorry over and over and over for Columbine.

It is a common practice to take speeches and edit them to try to prove a point. Its unfair but all do it

ANY person with an ounce of common sense knows the NRA DOES NOT approve of what happened at Columbine, with or without Mr Moore!

I've seen all three of his movies / documentaries.  I think he raises some good points to be considered.  What I would like to see is some action for the common good come out of these movies (ie: charity).  I would hate to see that he gets rich by perpetuating conspiracy theories with no follow through or action ....

I personally thought it was disrespectful for Mr. Heston to go there and give a speech right then at all.  I understand it was edited, but I thought that was in poor class and poor taste for them to go there on the heels of what happened.

I do agree with you the NRA should have changed their meeting place, for the timing wasn't right at all.  However, it does not excuse Moore, being the gentleman that he is, Heston did give him an interview and he abused the courtesy.
Ok, my suggestion is for the ones who care to know more about what has been said about this movie to go to the political thread, for it did get heated.
Was that "Bowling for Columbine" or "F 9-11"?

Ok, I just saw this yesterday, and it was disturbing, yet entertaining. I like Moore's energy in promoting a cause, especially the Kmart incident. I think he's a brave man to do that. But since it's my first time to actually watch and understand a documentary, I'm still thinking of what the connecting factors with the things he talked about, which was from guns, to Columbine, to 9/11, to US's role to different wars, to violence in US compared to others country. And why was it called "Bowling for Columbine" ?

My mother lives in Colorado, she did some therapy work with kids from there after the shooting.  Most people don't know this, but there was a grade school next to the high school where the shooting took place and many of the students (several of them wounded) ran into the grade school for shelter and the little ones saw them running in screaming and bloody, etc. and my mom worked with several of those children (she's a child psychologist for those that don't know).
