I have just watched  this movie and I don't understand all.
As long as the matrix exists , the human race will never be free means that It must destroy it ,but how?
Kill Neo?

Who is the oracle?  human or program?
What about Agents Smith?
How can we save the human race?

thanks , I wait for your help before watch the second episod

The 2 and 3 made the Matrix a "geek trilogy" rather than the general audiences if you ask me. Part 1 was great! But man the sequels destroeyed the mood and the greatness of it!

I didn't mind parts two and three personally, but I do agree that the first film was more mainstream and the best made film of the trilogy.

For now, meaning he will keep it and not say it til the right time comes...

"Man, the sequels"... simply means "the sequel bla bla bla"... man is just an expression when youre talking to someone.

Genk? maybe you mean geek. Its like someone who is too smart for his own good. Usually ends up having himself cut from society and "real life"...

But hey we are way out of topic.
Anyway, we are way off topic.

I read a review of the second one, once, and they commented "after they were done paying for all the special effects, they must have used the $10 left over to pay for the script writer".  While the first one didn't necessarily have stellar dialogue, it was still more of a coherent and fascinating plot than the follow ups.  I personally think they really blew it on making sure the story and dialogue was up to par with their special effects.

yup... the sequels of matrix sucks big time!

overextended and confusing for non-IT people... well actually being from the IT field I find it very boring.... just like i'm watching a documentary of how a computer's CPU works....

anyways... the matrix as what the movies portrays is a virtual (artificial) environment where the minds of people connected  or "plugged" into it exists....

then the oracle, agent smith, and other characters are mostly programs within the whole matrix system that acts within the system...  just like a computer game, example Diablo, Diablo is the matrix with different characters in it... each character is triggered by different programs within Diablo....

it was a big mistake for them to have made Matrix 2 and 3.... matrix 1 is a classic and you don't need to watch 2 and 3.. its just very disappointing...Grin
