The Big Chill

This has got to be my favorite movie of all times.   Similar to the Shawshank Redemption, I can flick through the cable channels and when this comes up, I can't resist.  On Saturday, I came up on it again. I started when Kevin Kline was giving Alex's eulogy. From then on I was hooked.  I always catch something I missed before. And the soundtrack is absolutely phenominal.  This time I was amazed at how skinny all the actors were.  They were all in their prime and just starting out. I always fall out laughing over several scenes.  The one where Tom Berenger tries to jump in the car is one.  Another is when Glenn Close and Jeff Goldblum FINALLY wake up and he says "are we the first ones up?".  What a classic.   I can just relate in so many ways.  My college years were the BEST.  I made so many lifelong friends and was totally out of control.  Same as these folks  What a great movie...

Cool  I finally saw this film, missed it when it came out in 1983, Mr L and I were busy then dating  Grin Kiss
Good film, WOW, Tom Berenger WOW
This had to have been the first film for several of the actors, besides Tom, Jeff Goldblum & Kevin Kline.
The two of them went on to film a western together, "Silverado".

It was definitely enjoyable, better than watching the local channels all night Grin

P.S.  Great Soundtrack Cool
