OK, this was a good movie for kids, but, even though the reviewers loved it, do not expect a Finding Nemo or a Toy Story here. It was a decent movie, but it was a little short on laughs and a little high Handed with the message (family is great).

still, 3.5 outta 5 stars

Now I saw it with the kids and really enjoyed it. I thought a lot of the jokes were clearly aimed at the adults. It's a little more serious than your typical disney film, and it did have less jokes, but it also had more action and the kids were delighted and mom and dad didn't feel like they wasted their money and time. I give it a 5 outta 5. I didn't waste my money, and I would pay to see it at the theatre again.

Funny how I change my mind so fast. Going to see this sooner. Hopefully next weekend (no, there's TAR reruns on Sundays). Ok... well, I have to find some time to watch this movie before it is taken out of the theaters.

The trailer was edited very well. I have been disappointed with the new Star Wars films, but I have to admit the trailer to the 3rd one gave me the happy chills.
