...is out on DVD and we cannot get our hands on it to rent!  Undecided  It looks like we're gonna get snowed in tomorrow and we were wanting to rent it.  I guess everyone else around here had the same idea.

LOL - we were that way yesterday with The Forgotten.  I'm home sick, and wanted something to watch while I'm "homebound" and everything was gone by the time we got there last night..  Sad

I can't believe how EXCITED I was when the previews first came out.  Couldn't wait to see it.  Then all the talk of how it wasn't scary.  I will eventually see it but am not beating the doors down.
Rupey, I know how it is when you really want to get your hands on one and have to wait patiently for it.  Good luck and give us a review as soon as you see it.

Same with us people, not much interest here.

Yesterday we watched "Sole Survivor" based on the Dean Koontz book.
Definitely held our interest!  I would say at least 4 stars Wink

It wasn't all that scary, but it was still a very enjoyable and well acted film, in my opinion.

I completley agree Rhune!

It is a M. Night film and all it does is make you think, and it DOES make you think. It does have a twist in it just like all of his other movies and I thought was very good. I definently would say to see this movie!

it was alright.. the problem with Shymalin's movies (sp) is that you are constantly asking yourself... what's the catch?

Yes. And when I don't find "the catch" appealing, I say the movie was bad. BUT, if I watch it again, the movie seems better.

I really like this movie, but as I said when it first came out, it's more "political statement" and "love story" than thriller.  I just hate that they advertised it that way.  I think lots of teens and young adults went expecting to see a thriller and were greatly disappointed, and I think lots of adults who would have enjoyed the movie didn't see it because they were expecting thriller/slasher type movie geared for teens.  It was promoted to entirely the wrong audience, IMHO.

I can't agree more!  This movie was not a bad movie at all, but it was a terribly mis-marketed film.

What's really sad, is they're doing the same sort of marketing with the DVD - when will they learn?

my wife refuses to watch the movie for the fact that it was marketed as a horror flick.... granted a few scenes will make you jump, but...............
so did mary poppins....(that doesn't leave the board)
