Keanu Reeves Flick about and exorcist damned to hell, trying to work his way back to God's good graces. Plotwise this was mildy entertaining. Not much character development though and they never quite say why he does what he does. There are a few plot holes and a few unanswered questions. The thing that i disliked most about this movie was it's portrayal of God. He was alternatively a "child with an ant farm" and a very hard unyeilding and unforgiving person. People were going to hell left and right. There were a few inconsistencies too. There were other parts of this movie that i strongly disagreed with theologically, but i don't want to give away major plot points. I just hope people don't think this is how things really work in heaven and hell (they try to justify stuff by saying the Catholic Church teaches this or that, when i am pretty sure it doesn't) This movie isn't very scary so if you are looking for another "Exorcist" you will be disappointed. Take it with a grain of salt and its moderately entertaining. 2.5 outa 5 starts
