Cry  LL, I feel your pain!  My daughter gave me he book of this when we were going on a long trip, which I read on the flight!   Cry Cry Cry
We returned and I told her I was going to kick her hinny for giving me such a sad book without telling me what all the sadness that was in it.

Her Grandparents on her Dad's side basically lived this story, with their Grandmother dying of Alzheimers and Grandad dying of a heart attack.
She and my son relate to this!  I did not at the time of reading the book.

Thankfully, knowing what the movie was about, I could at least enjoy it more.
We saw it on June 29, 2004, one day before our 20th Anniversary!
Mr Luci asked me why I didn't tell him what the movie was about?
I didn't want to spoil it for him.  We relate to the story and hope we never live it!

The most beautiful scene in the movie, the swan's on the lake!

.....but you'll watch it again, right?  It was beautifully filmed Cool
