What was the best Harry Potter movie ever released? For me it's hard to decide between the first and second one. I had some problems with the last one because some of the stuff seemed fake and it wasn't like the other two. Plus, the guy who played Professor Dumbledore wasn't the same as the other guy!

Well, considering the man who played Dumbledore died, they either had to get a new actor or never make another HP Film.

I picked the third. I felt it was much edgier and more attention was given to the special effects. It was not a "perfect" film by any means with some missing important plot pieces for people who have not read the books, but I absolutely despised the syrupy doe-eyed over sappy moments Columbus added to the first two films. I felt like the director didn't trust us enough to sympathize with or love the character so he had to over-do it, which in the end had the opposite effect and just turned me off completely.

I agree with Rhune, I like the darker aspects of Azkaban. Am looking forward to Goblet of Fire. Just wonder how long they can keep the current cast, if they don't hurry, Daniel Radcliffe is going to be 30 playing HP..

I like how the third movie was made. The feel is different and it's darker than the first movie. However, I read Harry Potter because of its mystery and the adventure in it, and it also makes you feel like a kid again. I think that feeling was captured in the first movie.

If I am feeling happy I watch the first movie. If I want to watch an "artsy" type of film I watch the third. The second, for me, just seems like an extension of the first.

Also, I think it's Chamber of Secrets that will be shown on ABC. I know because they said they're going to show clips from the 4th movie, Goblet of Fire! Shocked
