Actual movie times?

I read a little blurb from E!Online that said that Loews theaters is going to start publishing the ACTUAL start times of the movie. And all the commercials will be shown BEFORE the movie starts.  That has me so psyched. We've literally been sitting through a half hour of commercials before the previews even come on.  Gimme a break!

Also, we went to a Regal Cinema last week and they have already implemented this!  The commercials were already on when we walked in (20 minutes early) and then when the movie was supposed to start, the previews started (don't mind previews, mind commercials)

I was thrilled!!

My local theatre chain (Harkins) plays commercials up until the start time and then starts the previews (approx 5-10 minutes worth) so I've never had to deal with that kind of frustration. It would drive me nuts! I'm glad that your local theatres are changing  Cool

I don't care for the commercials but I would absolutely hate to miss the trailers for upcoming movies.  I love the trailers, to see what's in the works and what's worth getting excited about. Smiley  Lately I have noticed they have less and less trailers and more and more commercials, which is disapointing.

Here we only get about 2-3 1-minute commercials, so it doesn't really bother me. I don't know if what they show as the movie start times are the real start times. I never noticed.

Yes, I love seeing trailers!  Cool
