We have seen this movie last night and I'd say it was a beautiful film... there may be a few gory scenes, yet generally it was a contentful movie....
the storyline is good, the script is very well written, its plot unique.. and I'd say.. this is the first war epic that I saw that does not revolve in chivalry or being a hero... it revolves on the main actors search of the kingdom of heaven.... if focuses on the faith... on how their fate is dependent on God's will... it also features the centuries old conflict between Christians and Muslims... and the center of them is Jerusalem or the Holy Land.... 
it has a lot of quotable-quotes in the movie too many that I'm wanting to see it again...
