I think this movie will be super funny i think. Owen Wilson is one of my favorite comedic actors and Vince Vaughn was in old school so he is automatically hilarious. I mean I found some clips of this movie on http://www.budwesier.com/1 and they have me cracking up so the movie must be ridiculously funny. what do you guys think?

The movie, looks funny. Owen and Bince are very funny actors so it should be good. As well, Rachel McAdams is in it (she was in Mean Girls and The Notebook) and she is an awesome actress, so it should be really good. Maybe a bit stupid, but most funny movies are.

I'm not even going to click on the site.  However I am looking forward to seeing the movie.  Which is where this thread should be in the first place.  MOVIES!

Wedding Crashers (R)
By Hanh Nguyen, Zap2it.com

"Wedding Crashers" brings a whole new meaning to the "something blue" part of the old saying about tying the knot. This buddy film masquerades as a romantic comedy, which means instead of sentiment and bared souls, there's incontinence and bared breasts. And that's not altogether a bad thing.

John and Jeremy (Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn) have perfected crashing weddings to take advantage of the lonely young ladies touched by the romance in the air. At the biggest wedding of the season, John unexpectedly falls for Claire (Rachel McAdams), the daughter of Secretary of the Treasury William Cleary (Christopher Walken) and his promiscuous wife Kathleen (Jane Seymour).

Unfortunately, Claire already has a guy named Sack (Bradley Cooper), and anyway, there's that pesky problem about John's having lied to her the whole time. Jeremy doesn't have it any easier. He hooked up with Claire's sister Gloria (Isla Fisher), who turns out to be a "Stage-5 Clinger" and just plain crazy -- from her wild eyes and baby voice to her imaginary friend and maniacal laugh.

The film plays like an episodic panorama of pain and humiliation, mainly for Jeremy. He becomes a human tackling dummy, sustains a quail hunting injury, and endures a "midnight rape and gay art show." Through it all, the guys somehow mature enough to stop playing the field and win their women, who really are just peripheral to the true love story between John and Jeremy.

Okay, so the pals are straight, but they're intensely loyal, have sleepovers and say "I love you" more times to each other than to their purported love interests. Throw in the Cleary son's crush on Jeremy, and it's all just the type of homoerotic fluff that's played for laughs in guy comedies.

While crass, the film has some genuine laughs, mainly because of Vaughn's dry and rapid-fire delivery. His gentle and uncouth giant is a nice foil to the diminutive and frisky Fisher. Yes, she's annoying, but she wears it well. McAdams is her usual sweet self and emotes the best she can with the little she's given. Despite this effort and Wilson's buttery drawl, one gets the feeling that John truly only regards Claire as another pal, albeit a female one.

The remainder of the supporting cast works well enough. Sack as a slightly unbalanced egomaniac is made even freakier by Cooper's strangely smooth skin that flushes completely when angry, vomiting or excited. Walken is solid as usual -- a little creepy and a little, well, creepy. Seymour commits completely to the neglected wife role starving for sexual validation from younger men. Oh, Dr. Quinn, we thought we knew ye.

Overall, "Wedding Crashers" is like the loud-mouthed wedding guest who'd be offensive if he weren't so darn good-natured and bent on making everyone have a good time.

John (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy (Vince Vaughn) are two divorce mediators who share an interesting hobby: they love to crash weddings. Swallowing the atmosphere, cake, and women whole as they parade around any celebration they can get into, the duo finds the crash of the century in the marriage of a politician's (Christopher Walken) daughter. When John takes a unexpected liking to a bridesmaid named Claire (Rachel McAdams, "The Notebook"), he drags Jeremy to the her family's summer house for the weekend, where the deception and miscommunication starts to pile high, riling up mean boyfriends (Bradley Cooper), smitten fellow bridesmaids (a perfectly goofy Isla Fisher), and Jeremy's tolerance for catastrophe.

Working distantly together in a comedy troupe (with Ben Stiller, Jack Black, and Will Ferrell) that I'm shocked hasn't been given a name yet, "Wedding Crashers" marks the first co-starring collaboration between Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. These two comic dynamos were born to play with each other, and "Crashers" is a great vehicle to let them shine. That is, when it wants to be funny.

Comment:
This is one movie we're ready to see.
Noting is more funny than a wedding movie
with antics and mishaps going on.
