Moments after takeoff, Lisa's charming seat-mate, Jackson (Cillian Murphy), menacingly reveals the real reason he's on board: He is an operative in a plot to kill a rich and powerful businessman... and Lisa is the key to its success. If she refuses to cooperate, her own father will be killed by an assassin awaiting a call from Jackson. Trapped within the confines of a jet at 30,000 feet, Lisa has nowhere to run and no way to summon help without endangering her father, her fellow passengers and her own life. As the miles tick by, Lisa knows she is running out of time as she desperately looks for a way to thwart her ruthless captor and stop a terrible murder.

Summary written by bondish

After attending the funeral of her grandmother in Dallas, Lisa Reisert must take the dreaded red eye flight back to Miami to make it to work the next day. Lisa soon meets Jackson Ripner and their attraction grows. But moments after take-off, Jackson reveals to Lisa her father's wallet that he swiped off his desk and his real reason for being on board. Jackson needs Lisa's help to kill the deputy secretary of Homeland Security who's scheduled to stay at the Lux Atlantic Hotel, the hotel Lisa is the manager of. If she refuses to help, Jackson will call his partner on the ground and have her father killed. At 30,000 feet, Lisa has no where to run and no time for rash judgement.

We've seen this film this afternoon.  All I can think
of in a one word description is; WOW, what a thriller Cool

From the very beginning to the end, it is action packed,
and you're not just too sure about the outcome of it!

Rachel McAdams of "The Notebook" did an outstanding job, in our opinion.
Colby Donaldson of the TV hit, "Survivor" impressed
us with his first role in a film, plus we did see him a
more than we had thought we would in this film.

Cillian Murphy, the male lead and villan, we do not
recall ever seeing him in any film or a TV role.
He played his role well also.

Someone help us out here, have we seen him before
and do not remember?  What has he starred in or had a part?
Is he totally unknown before this film to the USA movie goers?

As for recommending this film, I say don't go, RUN to see it Cool
It is by far better than any we've seen in the movie theater this Summer!
   ....and we don't care what the paid critics say Wink
If you're wanting to be held in suspense and entertained at the same time, this one is for you Cool
