This remake should be a good.  Naomi Watts is in the role of Ann Darrow.  I hope she does not scream quite as much as Fay Wray.

Actually 3 hours and 11 minutes.  But from what I've read from most folks, it went by in about 30 minutes.  I haven't read reviews like this from critics or real people  in a long long time.   I think I will have to get myself up off the couch for this one.

I"m going this weekend... with school getting out and those lovely "end of the semester" (we can't call them Christmas) parties to deal with tomorrow.. I can't handle a three hour movie night.. LOL.

I was thinking first showing Sunday at 11... shouldn't be too crowded.. Cheesy

We saw this movie the day it opened.  However, coming home to sad news of the death of a Nephew, it's been difficult to find time to post about it.

We enjoyed this movie tremendously!  The special effects are as
good or possibly better than any movie we've seen in the past.

It starts a bit slow, but when it picks up speed, it goes by to fast.  Yes, there are a lot of screams
and fighting off the "bad guys"!   We enjoyed the afternoon watching
this film and yes, the 3 hours whiz by!

See it, it's worth the pirce of your ticket, in our opinion!

It was spectacular - though I couldn't handle watching the giant bugs... *shiver*... but it was truly the love story that the original Kong was.  My daughter and I were both in tears at the end... definitely worth seeing!!
