I am just SICK.   Can't even go to the video store anymore and rent a movie.  Everything is on DVDs.   Roll Eyes
I hate being forced to buy a player. It's not fair.  But apparently that's the only way I will be able to watch movies now days. This just sucks.   Undecided

Well I prefer DVD's over videotapes, because I guess they're just easier to work with. They usually have lots of special features, and they are easier to get from scene to scene with. You don't have to fastforward and rewind for a long time, and you can get entire TV shows opn DVD sets as well, as opposed to videotapes, which would be like a million tapes for one season of a show.

Aw, just give in to it LL... you'll love them when you do... and the players have gotten so cheap... I just bought my daughter one for her room, was like 40.00.  If you just want something to play them, buy a cheap one... they work, they'll last a couple of years, then toss it and get a new one.. they'll probably be even cheaper then.. Undecided
