Brokeback Mountain

Hey there!

Let's see what I think about Brokeback Mountain. I really like the movie. I mean, come on, you don't always watch  movies about gay cowboys. I think it was the best movie of the year, it was romantic and just wonderful. Plus: They won oscars too!

Now, it's your turn, what do you think of Brokeback Mountain?

Thanks,

I watched a few parts here and there. I'm not allowed to watch this as it's rated R-21 in my country and i'm not 21 years of age yet. (Don't question me how did i watch it then. Tongue)

Nature and the outdoors were huge in this film and it was extremely well thought out. There was very little music in the film and the silence made the movie that much more intense. Whenever there was music, it was appropriately implemented.

Brokeback Mountain is as far as I am concerned, groundbreaking. We can learn a whole lot form this film. This film is trul an instant classic.

I still haven't seen it, but my daughter (who has just turned 21) did.  She loved it... she said what angers her so is people who won't go see it because of the "gay cowboy" thing.

Her words, "It's an awesome love story.. I cried... and if it were about a man and a woman.. everyone would be going to see it and everyone would be saying how awesome it is!"

"Brokeback Mountain", A very well made movie which we both enjoyed.
We understand why it's getting such reviews and awards. [/END QUOTE]

What people miss is the fact it's about longing, longing for something
that is never to be.........it isn't just a gay romance, a much more intense
storyline than that.....i wanted to see what the bru haha was all about....
knew it would be up for awards.............DH is secure with his manhood
enough to accompany me......and yes, it leaves one with wanting to cry
at the ending.......at least us girls!
