I went into this expecting slapstick goofy... and I should have known better.. I love Owen Wilson.. I don't think I've ever seen him in anything that I didn't like.

(Maybe it's the fact that he reminds me of a guy I used to date.. which is a rather interesting story I'll just throw in for fun... first time I saw Owen was in a preview for Shanghai Knights, and I told my daughter, that guy looks just like a guy I used to date... and told her his name... and his last name was Wilson.. just as I told her, they said... ".. and Owen Wilson".. it was just weird... I've often wondered if they're related... both are from Texas.. )..

anyway.. back to the movie... this is a really good movie if you can get over the fact that Matt Dillon is too old to be playing Kate Hudson's husband... it's just creepy.  I laughed out loud through the whole thing.  Definitely a fun movie, you could wait for the DVD.. but if you don't have anything else to see this weekend.. give it a try!

His brother is LUKE, was that by chance who you dated?
Dallas, TX is their home!

I would think this film would be a good one to see this Winter when we have nothing to do, & want to laugh!
Owen doesn't have to say much to be funny!  Grin

Nope, not Luke or Andrew... these Wilson's lived in Houston... but they had relatives all over the state... so could have been a cousin... it was weird how much they looked alike.  Blonde hair and everything... I came home and found an old picture and showed my daughter.. she said the same thing.. OMG.. He looks just like Owen Wilson!!.. LOL.

I'm much too old for these brothers... Andrew would be the closest, and he's five years younger than I.... as for the others.. at the time I was dating this guy Luke would have been 7, Owen would have been 10... I do like younger guys.. but not THAT much younger..  Shocked
