I hear it's not historically correct and I read somewhere else that it was even more violent and pointless than Apocalytpo. Which Apocalypto was great so I don't know why people don't like it.
 
I wanted to see this a year ago but it I think it looks terrible now.

yes it's historically incorrect... I liked it for the comic book feel...
 
I liked this more than Apocalypto... which I find lacking...

Is it as historically incorrect as Apocalypto?
 
I don't usually care for historical accuracy in films, especially not Hollywood films, but I was on the Apocalypto imdb board last night and saw somebody had posted some racist drivel about Mayans based on what they saw in the film.
