Homer Simpson Has It His Way

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Following on the heels of young fans of FOX's "The Simpsons," being able to collect all 10 Treehouse of Horror-inspired toys in Big Kids and Kids Meals, Burger King is giving the Whopper a makeover a la Homer.
As of Friday (Nov. 1), those in search of a heart attack wrapped in tissue paper can get the Homer Simpson X-treme Bacon & Cheese Whopper consisting of a burger piled with four-and-a-half strips of bacon, two slices of American cheese and one slice of smoked cheddar cheese.
Or, of course, you can go with the Value Meal option and get fries and a drink with it.
Starting Monday, Nov. 4, Burger King will also roll out a series of animated television spots to run throughout the month of November. The Homer Whopper will only be around until Dec. 29.
