New Reality Show to Feature Tycoon Trump

LOS ANGELES - The corporate jungle will be the setting for a new reality TV series from "Survivor" producer Mark Burnett that features business tycoon Donald Trump.
In "The Apprentice," about 20 people will compete in New York for a job with Trump and his company. The winner will receive a six-figure salary, NBC said Tuesday.
Contestants will face a series of job assignments and those who fail to complete their task successfully will be grilled by Trump and his key executives, the network said. Trump will fire one contestant each week.
The 13-episode series offers "a way to discover a new generation of business leaders in a fun, entertaining and cutthroat way — not unlike the real business world," Trump said in a statement.
No air date was announced for the series. There are plans to feature other business executives in subsequent seasons.
