'Spaces' Creators Make TLC Decent 'Proposal' LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - "Perfect Proposal," a new effort from "Trading Spaces" producers Banyan Prods. will be one of three new shows joining TLC's daytime schedule this fall. Premiering on Monday, Sept. 15, "Proposal" will feature potential grooms (and also would-be brides) desperate to pop the question in a unique way. As with the TLC formula, they'll be given plenty of expert assistance, including help from host Nikki Boyer. "Proposal" seems like a logical preamble to such popular TLC programming as "A Wedding Story" and "A Baby Story." TLC has ordered 60 episodes of the show, which will air daily. "This will fall right in line with the cinema-verite style TLC brings to showing real-life personal milestones," executive producer Julie Rose McCully tells The Hollywood Reporter. McCully also oversees "Wedding." "Proposal" will launch in the 1 p.m. ET slot currently occupied by "Personal Story." It will be followed by "Second Chance," which lets people reconnect with old flames and, later in the afternoon, by "Clean Sweep," in which people clean their closets. Yes, that would be a show were couples clean and reorganize their closets.
