AMERICAN IDOL AUDITIONS
 
‘AMERICAN IDOL’ IS BACK AND COMING TO A CITY NEAR YOU…  
 
 
The most talked-about show of last season is coming to a city near you. Auditions for the third edition of the popular FOX series AMERICAN IDOL are set to start in Los Angeles and continue to Houston, Atlanta, and New York. Participants will vie for a spot on AMERICAN IDOL and a chance at the title and a major recording contract. This past May over 38 million viewers tuned in to watch Ruben Studdard as he was crowned as this season's IDOL. The next season of AMERICAN IDOL is set to debut in January of 2004.

Rose Bowl

Gate "A"
Free Parking
 
-Lineup begins Friday, 8/1 at 12:00N (earlier arrivals will be turned away)  
-2 forms of ID required  
-Only 1 family member per auditioner will be allowed into the stadium on 8/3.  
-Please review FAQs for audition details.
 
HOUSTON, TX - Wednesday, August 13  
ATLANTA, GA - Wednesday, August 20  
NEW YORK, NY - Monday, August 25  
HONOLULU, HI - September TBA

August 4, 2003 | They lined up by the thousands, and some sat under the burning Pasadena, CA, sun for two whole days to get their shot at stardom on FOX's "American Idol." But these hopefuls say it's all worth it. After these cuts are made, the producers will next be heading out to Houston for auditions on August 13th. Then the talent search will move on to Atlanta, New York City, and for the first time, Honolulu. The next installment of "American Idol" is scheduled to start in January 2004.

They won't air until next year, so I figured I'd wait until we were a little closer to set it back to it's own forum yet.
