I saw the repeat of it last night

basically it is like a reality type show, only one guy does not know that everyone else around him is an actor and the are revolving the show around him.

Sounds confusing actually, lol It was kind of comical though

I have not caught this one, but it sounds like the Truman Show. That's a movie I didn't really groove on the first time I saw it, but I kept catching it on cable and with each viewing it seemed to get better and better. There are a few movies out there that are strangely like that for me.

I have been watching this show. It's repeated all the time so don't fear if you miss an episode or two!
I think it is cruel what they do to this guy, who seems genuinely nice, but it is really funny.
The actors steal their "motivation" or some of their sayings from popular players from other shows. FOr example when the black lady got kicked off she did a speech much like Sue did from survivor where she went off the handle.
It's funny because they take a game and change everything based on his answer so they get the desired outcome.
I definately recommend taking in an episode or two. You'll laugh, and it will definately make you wonder about the reality shows.

lol, I watched most of it again last night. You are right magnum it is cruel. And it is quite raunchy at times, but yet I find myself laughing at alot of the antics. Cheesy

It used to be TNN I think.....

Azure, I look at it like you can't help but laugh. Especially when the actors "fake" anger then go into another room and just fall over laughing. Or when they worry that they are burned. For example the underwear competition in the first episode.....

The show is honestly funny. More for the actors screwing up or Joe is making comments about the actors and how "real" there characters are. You have to watch to get it I guess

I enjoy Joe Schmo. I think they did it all in fun and never realized that this guy has his real emotions envolved and they are now having to take that into consideration and have even stated that they are "stepping up" the pace of the show so they can get it over for him faster. I can't wait to see how this ends and at least hope they give the poor guy the money in the end for being such a good sport during the whole thing.
