Wow wee wow wee!  I was flipping channels just as Clay Aiken to the stage to sing!  OMG!  After seeing Ruben this past week, struggling to sing with added weight - MAN!....what a treat!  Clay was great!

Clay Aiken will not suffer for he now has a full schedule of singing.  After all, with Neil Sadaka behind him, he wasn't going to fail anyway!
 
Back to Miss America, we were pulling for Miss Maryland after it got down to the final five.  But overall with the ten finalists, we were rooting for (are you ready for this Wings?)  Miss Oklahoma.  She was poised, elegant and we loved her evening gown.
 
Oh well, onto another year!

Thanks luci!  So was I.  She was a sparkly young lady wasn't she.  She came close but there have been two other OK contestants that have won in recent years.  Daddy was alive the the last OK winner and I can't tell you how happy his little self was.

Like Rhune said, it is over and a moot point, but has anyone checked Amazon.com to see the sales ranks of Clay and Ruben's albums?  Clay's is ranked 8th and Ruben is ranked 462(?).  If that doesn't say something about who the real "winner" of American Idol 2 was, then I don't know what would.

I hope Clay will be better off in the long run that he didn't win - meaning I understand that AI's contract is overwhelmingly stiffling.

I read something the other day where commented on Clay and said, "If Simon Cowell backpedals any further, he'll be back in England."  I thought that was cute cause I have seen a lot of backpedaling from Simon recntly, with regards to Clay.

Backpedaling - EH?  Probably because his Company's shareholders (and whoeverelse) let him know that by pushing for Ruben to win instead of Clay, he lost them tons of moolah!  :laff:
