Extreme Makeover

I was surprised to find myself watching Extreme Makeover on thursday night.  With survivor being on a different channel this past week, extreme makeover came on right after Survivor.
 
I thought this premise was exploitive initially and the two makeovers that they did were all purely for cosmetic reasons and not because of accidents or injuries.
 
Still the two women were really really happy with the changes that were done.  The one woman also had major work done on her teeth that she badly needed.
 
I am likely to watch again.  Anyone else watch this show?

Ohhhhh addams - I've been watching this show for quite some time.  I continue to be amazed at the wonders of cosmetic surgery and the outcome of each story.

After two decades on the job, Peggy, a 48-year-old crime scene investigation detective from Colorado, wants to look 20 years younger at her upcoming work anniversary party. She is transformed from looking dead tired to drop dead gorgeous. Peggy had a pre-hairline brow lift, face and neck lift, fat injections in the face, upper and lower eye lift, Lasik surgery, chin and jowl implants, as well as 20 porcelain veneers.
 
Next episode, Thursday, October 2, 9/8c
 
Follows the journeys of Lori, a 37-year-old devoted mother from Tioga Center, New York, and Peter, a 25-year-old fast food manager from Arlington, Virginia, from their "before" phase, then as they undergo their various procedures and, finally, when the end results are revealed to their families and friends.
