I absolutely do!   Tonguewww.cbs.com/primetime/joan_of_arcadia/

I noticed this morning the above site has cast interviews so I watched Jason Ritter's (John Ritter's son).  He gives a clear overview to the "God" issue.  It was eerie watching him and listening to him though - he's sooo like his dad.

Last night's epi:

Friday, October 3, 8PM ET/PT "The Fire and the Wood"

"Everyone’s taken aback by Joan’s sudden interest in enrolling in advanced placement chemistry, which she does after God asks her to stop being an underachiever. Meanwhile, Helen tries to motivate Kevin to accept and begin driving a used hands-control vehicle."

I really love the idea of motivating wheelchair-bound Kevin to drive a car. Great storyline!

Next week:

Friday, October 10, 8PM ET/PT "Touch Move"

God encourages Joan to learn chess, which she seemingly masters far easier than her high school social life. Meanwhile, Will is forced to work with a psychic on the case of a missing toddler, and Helen becomes fixated on the possibility of a miracle that would enable Kevin to walk again.

The premise and stories just (to me) seem to get better and better.  I'm finding the same at other websites.

Next epi:

Friday, November 7, 8PM ET/PT
"Death Be Not Whatever"

After God asks Joan to start helping those in need, she reaches out to a single mother looking for a babysitter. Meanwhile, Will navigates through a political quagmire when two officers assault an African-American man at a gas station.

I like it because it's one of the few shows we've had that deal with the issue of religion in a philosophical way rather than smacking you over the head with CHURCH/SIN/SALVATION/ and HELL. Touched by an Angel got really tiresome after a while and Seventh Heaven was just a grittier version of the Brady Bunch. Have you noticed that none of the episodes of JoA mention whether or not the family attends church or what their belief system might be. (At least I think I'm right about this, I haven't seen them all). That's refreshing. It's simply human beings trying to figure out why they're here and what's going on.  My atheist roommate even enjoys it somewhat.

It's a cool show, though It's odd that No one knows she's talking to God.  Huh
