Roddick Courts Reality Run

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Andy Roddick won his first Grand Slam tennis tournament earlier this fall and he recently became the No. 1 men's tennis player in the world. He's 21, good-looking, and dating actress-singer Mandy Moore. He probably figures that with all the cameras currently trained in his general direction, he may not notice one more. The tennis star will now be the focus of his own reality series.
Cameras will role next summer, following Roddick on and off the court as he meets with fans, plays his tournament and lives the life of a sports celebrity. Tentatively called "The Tour," the show is being pitched to networks by Craig H. Shepherd, producer of Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy."
"I am totally amped for this show," Roddick tells the AP. "I'm just this guy who happens to play tennis, but my life has become this circus. It's a wild ride, and I've given 'The Tour' producers total access... except my bedroom -- sorry, I have to draw the line somewhere."
"The Tour" will tape from May to September, which should lead up to Roddick's attempt to defend his U.S. Open title.
Fans who can't get enough of Roddick will be able to catch him this Saturday night (Nov.  when he hosts NBC's "Saturday Night Live."
