Cowboy Bebop

For those of you interested, it looks like Cartoon Network is going to start showing Cowboy Bebop again, starting with the first episode at midnight, Tues Dec 9th (for most of us, that's still Monday, cause we haven't gone to bed yet!)  A well worth it series in my opinion.  If you're gonna give it a try, and you're not sure, I would ask that you give it through the first 5 episodes, because the 5th epsiode is one of those episodes that is just fantastic in this series.  Here's the first week's schedule:

I love Adult Swim...
 
I have ordered Cowboy Bebop the Movie through Netflix...I am hoping it gives me the general premise of the series...

I don't know much about Cowboy Bebop...however I hear that it is one of the best anime series ever made...

It's fantastic.  I would say that the movie will not give you a general premise though.. grin.  The movie basically takes place before the last 4 episodes of the series.  It was still fun to watch though. Smiley  I don't think it was quite up to par with some of the best episodes of the series, but it's still enjoyable.  I think you will really enjoy the series.  If you make it through to the 5th episode, you won't want to stop watching it.  The first couple are not as good as some of the latter ones in the series, they kinda build steam as they go along, in my opinion, but they do a good job of introducing the principal characters.  Then the 5th episode is where it really starts to live up to it's reputation.
