LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - A mom, a stripper (but not the kind you're thinking of) and a handful of food-service employees will be among the women vying for the title of "America's Next Top Model."

UPN's model competition, which scored pretty solid ratings in its first go-round last summer, returns for a second season on Tuesday, Jan. 13. Twelve women will be vying for a modeling contract and other prizes this time around, up from 10 in the first cycle.

The stripper in question is actually a wire stripper -- as in electrician -- named Catie Anderson, an 18-year-old from Willmar, Minn. She's one of two 18-year-olds in the competition; the others range in age from 21 to 25.

As with the first go-round, the finalists will live together in a fab New York pad and put through a series of model-related tasks, from mastering a catwalk-worthy strut to conducting themselves well in interviews. The winner receives a contract with IMG Models and photo shoots for Sephora and Jane magazine.

Creator Tyra Banks and Janice Dickinson will return as judges for the second season, but Kimora Lee Simmons and Beau Quillian are out. Replacing them are fashion photographer Nigel Barker and Eric Nicholson, senior fashion editor of Jane.
