Celebrity MOLE YUCATAN

Season Premiere!Wednesday,January7,10/9c

Celebrity Mole Yucatan is a new season of The Mole series. Ananda Lewis, Mark Curry, Angie Everhart, Tracey Gold, Keshia Knight Pulliam and Dennis Rodman join returning players Stephen Baldwin and Corbin Bernsen, who hope to avenge their early Executions on Celebrity Mole Hawaii.

These Players are trying to add money to the pot by doing well in challenging physical and mental games. All the while they are trying to figure out who amongst them is The Mole, a double agent planted by the producers to sabotage the games. It is the goal of each Player to figure out the identity of The Mole, then learn as much about him or her as possible in order to do well on the Quiz at the end of each episode. The player that scores the lowest on each Quiz is Executed and must leave the game immediately. In the end, only one Player will walk away with all of the money in the pot, which could total up to $250,000! Emmy award-winning sportscaster Ahmad Rashad hosts the series.

MOLE BASICS

THE MOLE: The Mole is posing as a Player, but in fact is secretly sabotaging games and the Players' attempts to add money to The Pot.

PLAYERS: The Players are the celebrities who are attempting to win the approximately $250,000 Pot by figuring out who The Mole is and doing well on quizzes all about the Mole.

THE POT: "The Pot" is the money earned by the Players during games. On the last episode, the Player that wins the game takes home the entire Pot of money.

QUIZ: At the end of each episode, Players take a quiz about The Mole and the Mole's activities. The closer a Player is to figuring out the identity of The Mole, the better they'll do on the Quiz, and the less likely they are to be Executed.

EXECUTION: At the end of each episode, the one player that does the worst on the Quiz is "Executed" and must leave the game immediately.

EXEMPTION: During the course of some games, a Player may have an opportunity to win an "Exemption", meaning they are exempt from being Executed during the next Execution, no matter what their score on the Quiz.

"Nicer" - I don't know. But it was sure better. I'm lost as to how this show has been bandied about. I think it began with 9/11, but........

I'm going to watching this show for sure, but I don't understand why they would make another celebrity version. They had to make the challenges a lot smaller and it was a really low budget. They need to bring back the regular people. Celebritys just don't make great reality TV. We all saw what happened on that ABC show. "I'm a celebrity get me outta here!"

True, Dude, but this was a better show that that one! At least Corben Berson and Baldwin make it interesting! Thankfully they dont eat bugs, etc.!

Maybe I'm off-base but why don't they just bring back the regular "Mole"?

Actually, if memory serves me ( Wink

) it seems that particular show did very well - ratings-wise. I'd watch that one again before I would celebrity "Mole".

IMHO, the original Mole with "regular" people was WAY more interesting to watch...I feel that the celebrities hold things back and "act" according to how they want to be percieved by the public...much more interesting to see the group and personal dynamics of people who dont know each other and really have nothing to lose!

I thought it was pretty good. And yes those guys are entertaining. I do not like dennis rodman though, in the least. Tracey Gold and Keeshia, not quite sure how the two of them fit in.

Angie, whatever her name is, seems like a loose canon to me
