Ok WB is cancelling Angel Cry I have searched where I can but cant find any spoilers on how they will end show. Does anyone here have anything? I am hoping both Angel and Spike fullfill Prophecy and also mend their differnces and become friends they have both come along way in 500 years lol

ANGEL's fate remains dark, but SMG goes on the record stating she'd consider starring in the final episode.

IGN FilmForce is reporting that UPN has passed on taking on ANGEL to its lineup. According to the website, the reason for the network's decision was that the cost of producing the BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER spinoff series is too great for the still-struggling network to shoulder.  
 
Last night's overnight ratings for "Shells", the last new ANGEL for five weeks, was up slightly from last week's episode. With a 3.8 rating and 5 share of the viewing audience, ANGEL just edged out UPN's ENTERPRISE for more viewers.  
 
In other ANGEL news, Sci Fi Wire spoke with Sarah Michelle Gellar on the set of her new movie, THE GRUDGE, now filming in Japan. The actress said that she is open to making an appearance in the final episode of the WB series. Gellar said that so far no one from ANGEL has made contact with her about making a guest appearance on the series before it comes to an end, but if someone does, it will ultimately fall on whether she will return to American in time for filming to occur on the ANGEL episode. "It'll all depend on if I'm home in time and what the ideas are," Gellar told the website.

I love this show. I think the characters have really developed well over the years and the writing is tight.
 
The last two episodes (Evil Fred) have been great. I just hope they can wrap it up before it is cancelled. I don't see it doing justice if SMG is not involved as she seems to be central to the whole prophesy.
 
I read that Joss already knew how he wanted to end the series and was going to wrap it up next season. Looks like he just has to bump up his schedule.
 
It seemed to me they refilmed part of 'Shells' to make room for the ending. From what I heard they were going to be able to save Fred. Now they have written her off. Illyria is now wanting Wesley's help to become human since her army is gone. I somehow think the final showdown will involve Angel taking on the Sr. Partners and Illyria will play a vital role in this.
 
Now to wait 5 weeks for the next new one.  Undecided

Here are my wishes for end. I am hoping they do end it since UPN has already said no.
 We know SMG has scheduling problems so she may not be able to be in Finale and we also know that Prophecy involves Buffy or does it? I am guessing since Fred is being saved they are now in damage control to end show by cancel date. Fred/Illyra help Angel face off with Wolfman/Hart people and she may even die in the process all this after she becomes human! Wesley too dies but the spirts of both Fred And Wesely are seen leaving together. Gunn somehow revokes his new abilities and fights alongside Angel and friends. all this can build up prior to finale I would also like to see Angel accept Spike for what he has become NOT what he was and the two to mend fences and be friends. After all Spike has already saved the world once! He earned some praise! What of Prophecy and Buffy and Angel's love life? I feel both Spike and Angel deserve and should share in Prophecy after all it does mention Vampire with a soul thats both of them! Perhaps the person assumed to be Buffy in Prophecy isnt!? Well waltz in Werewolf lady! angel cant have Perfect relationship or revert to Angelius well will werewolf lady be perfect far from it! Perhaps Spike can have Buffy? Buffy did tell him she loved him and Buffy's finale! I think we will see Eve perish as well as harmony. I feel Spike deserves much and I hope after all they have done with him they dont deny him some glory and life! Well thats my take

Sources are reporting that the WB is talking to the producers.  There is a pretty active "Save Angel" campaign going on, so it may come back next Fall, after all.

Save 'Angel' campaign takes flight
 
LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- "Angel" acolytes are nothing if not devoted, determined and organized.
 
Fans of Joss Whedon's soon-to-be-canceled WB Network drama series sprung into action last month once it became official that the spawn of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" would get the big spike in May.
 
The "Save Angel" postcards and full-page ads have been flowing into The Hollywood Reporter and other publications for weeks, but "Angel" fans distinguished themselves from past fan-fueled salvage initiatives last week by hiring (at $700 a day) a billboard truck to drive around Los Angeles and park at strategic locations (including THR's Wilshire Boulevard offices, Warner Bros. and the WB, Paramount, UPN, HBO and 20th Century Fox) for maximum impact and, of course, free media exposure. ("We will follow 'Angel' to hell ... or another network," the billboard promises.)
 
Theresa Fortier, one of the instigators of the http://www.SavingAngel.org Web site, said the group has raised some $22,000 from several hundred donors in just a few weeks. The truck will cruise around for at least another week, and more print ads are likely to be placed.
 
"We've made it clear to (donors) that what we're doing wouldn't necessarily save the show, but if no one was gonna go broke, we'd appreciate whatever they could give," Fortier said. "We just want it known that we're concerned that the end seems near for quality TV drama. We don't want to lose the one last tie we have to the Joss Whedon universe."
 
The WB is a unit of Time Warner, as is CNN.
