Anyone watching this? We just started watching last night. It's OK. I liked "Pioneer House" from a couple of years ago much better.

These educational reality shows take people (families and individuals) and place them in rustic situations where they must live off of the land and the shelter and tools of the time period they are trying to emulate. For Colonial House, the colony is living Plimoth Village-style.

I caught some episodes of the victorian home they did a couple years back in england, that was pretty interesting stuff.

I find myself drawn to this show late at night. Deep down I would love to make a cabin in the deep woods of Colorado and live off the land. Things like this appeal to me.

I love this show. I find it and the others like it very interesting. I watched Frontier House from beginning to end and am waiting for a replay of Victorian House. We tend to romanticize(sp?) the past and forget how hard the "simple" life was.

I love these type of shows too. i didnt see this one but i saw the pioneer one it was good. I too would love land off to my self to live off of but i would still like modern convieniences like stove, fridge, all those house hold things and electricity. but i would love to farm my own goods. kabi

I've thrown away my tv guide from 5/19 and this show isn't listed (that I could see) for this coming week. What channel/network can it be found? Is it over?

I saw one ad for it but didn't notice what channel it was on. That, and plus, this isn't of a competitive genre, unlike most reality shows.
