Ex-'Apprentice' in dispute

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Florida (AP) -- A former star of Donald Trump's TV hit "The Apprentice" is accusing workers at a tow truck company of attacking her and her fiance, but the firm's owner says they are lying.

Katrina Campins, a 24-year-old Miami real estate agent, and her fiance, Ben Moss, say they plan to sue over the fracas that took place after they discovered their car had been towed, lawyer Stuart Grossman said Tuesday. Campins suffered a broken nose, swollen eye and leg scrapes, while Moss needed stitches for a split lip, he said.

But Donnie Seay, whose family owns Seay Towing, told police the couple attacked him and others on Sunday. Police were called after the melee inside the Seay office but couldn't immediately unravel conflicting accounts.

"It's still an active case," North Miami Beach police spokesman Sgt. Warren Hardison told The Miami Herald. Seay, Campins and Moss were listed as victims in the report, he said.

Campins and Moss had parked their Acura at a shopping mall in Sunny Isles Beach on Sunday afternoon. They went across the street to the Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort, where they plan to marry in August.

After a tour of the hotel and lunch, they saw the car was missing. Then the couple approached Seay, who was in the parking lot.

Grossman said the tow truck driver used "unprintable" insults at Campins, who was fired by Trump on his reality TV show this year.

Seay told WFOR-TV that Campins "started going crazy" and "slapped me in my face."

Campins and Moss then took a cab to the Seay office. Grossman said Moss was punched as he reached for his wallet, and "at least 10 or 12" people joined in the fight. Campins was knocked down and punched, Grossman said.

The couple ran to the cab "looking like a bloody mess" and were treated at Parkway Regional Medical Center, Grossman said.

Seay, who said Moss took a swing at one of his brothers upon entering the office, told the television station that the couple was to blame.
