Tonight, it's  "Live From New York:
The First Five Years Of Saturday Night Live."

Sunday's prime time schedule kicks off with an episode of "Law And Order: Criminal Intent." On the episode "Sex Club," When the "little black book" of an infamous hedonistic playboy (guest star Peter Bogdonovich) is purchased at auction, the new owner is found murdered and the book stolen -- prompting Detectives Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) to consider a U.S. Senatorial candidate (as Radcliff, guest star Matt Servitto) whose marital indiscretions (as his wife, Kay Radcliffe, guest star Rosanna Arquette, "Pulp Fiction") are documented in the tome and could provide embarrassing fodder for his rivals. The detectives must tweak their theory when the extortionist responsible for the original crimes turns up with two bullet holes in his back.

Sunday's prime time schedule wraps up with a special that takes a look back at the beginnings of "Saturday Night Live." "Live From New York: The First Five Years Of Saturday Night Live" is a rocket ride through the creation of one of the most successful shows in television history -- a show that transformed America's definition of what to do on Saturday night. From award winning documentarian, Ken Bowser, the story of the formative years of "Saturday Night Live" is told entirely by its stars, writers, artists and musicians. The special features archival show footage, new interviews with key original and current SNL cast members to discuss the show's 30-year impact.

I loved the early years of SNL - And it's on opposite Despearate Housewives and Boston Legal.  I have to decide which to record and which to watch!!

We're taping this for we want to keep it.  I can't wait to see it with all the old faces that made it what it is!
They were so funny!  SNL isn't near as good these days!

DH will be on for purchase one day and we'll buy the first year of it!

I watched this and taped Desperate Housewives and Boston Legal.  It was really good, seeing the original cast and the "behind the scenes" look at things.  The original really was ground breaking televison.

The Tv Special was a bit boring.  If they had only showed the scenes and not talked so much during it.  I'm glad we taped it!
