Do Some TV Nights Make You Nuts?

Last night my usband Tivo'd 2 hours, taped another two hours and we watched one. Then we watched the ones taped and haven't seen the Tivo 2 hours yet!

Does anyone else find it difficult to watch all on TV, especially on Monday and Tuesdays nights?

By Friday, there isn't much Roll Eyes

there's nothing for me to watch on Mondays. I generally DVD that night

Tuesdays is busy, with three things i want to watch, and i don't have a tivo so i just have to suck it up and decide

Wed i just the WB, thursday just CBS, don't watch TV on fridays usually

The only things I'm truly addicted to are TAR, Lost, Survivor and CSI (the original) during the week. And ABC's Sunday night line up (Extreme Home Makeover, Desperate Housewives, and Boston Legal). Other than that, I can take it or leave it. My VCR is set and a tape always in for the first group, just in case I don't make it home... the Sunday nights I figure I can always see in rerun if need be..

Hmmm...don't have Tivo or a working VCR, so like Angel, I have to make tough choices some nights. Here's what my usual schedule is right now:

SUNDAY - Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives, Boston Legal
MONDAY - Fear Factor, Everybody Loves Raymond, Two and A Half Men, CSI:Miami
TUESDAY - American Idol, The Amazing Race, Nashville Star
WEDNESDAY- Lost, American Idol, Yes Dear, CSI:NY
THURSDAY - Survivor: Palau, CSI, ER
FRIDAY - Star Trek: Enterprise, America's Next Top Model, Numb3rs
SATURDAY - Moving Up, Trading Spaces, Town Haul

After analyzing all this, I would say that Tuesday is currently my most difficult day. Last night TAR lasted 2 hours so I missed Nashville Star. Also, they premiered Invasion: Iowa on Spike TV which I want to see but it also conflicted with TAR. Though they reran it at 11:00 pm, that was just too late for me!

It also reruns several other times before each Tuesday airings.

All my nights are busy tv nights (i watch waaayyy too much tv), but i guess thursday (survivor, will and grace, the apprentice and without a trace) and sunday (desperate housewives, boston legal and ESPECIALLY arrested development) are the biggest ones.

My weekly line up is:

Sunday: Cold Case, Law & Order CI, Boston Leagal
Monday: Fear Factor, CSI Miami
Tuesday: American Idol, House, Law & Order SVU
Wedesday: American Idol, Interns, Law & Order (orginal)
Thurday: The O.C, Surviour, CSI (orginal), ER
Friday: Medical Investigations, Third Watch, Law & Order Trial by Jury

Some shows are on at the same time, but have no fear I have time shifting channels for the nights of conflict. Boooyaaaa

Tuesday seems to be the only bad night for me. I have to keep switching between American Idol and NCIS. I would record one of them but the hubby hooked up the VCR and for the life of me I can't figure out how to record on it. It seems like he has it hooked up through the satellite receiver, stereo, dvd, tv, coffee maker, toaster and anything else he can get his hands on. Grin

Tuesday-Sunday there is never anything on between 8 and 11pm that I like to watch when reality shows aren't on.
Mondays, I'll watch Fear Factor at 8pm and WWE Raw at 9pm.

At 7 on weekdays, I'll watch Wheel and Fortune and Jeopardy.

So, when Survivor, TAR, Big Brother, and The Apprentice are all in between seasons (like they currently are), I don't have anything to watch during that time period.

I never really have trouble with wanting to watch multiple shows that are on at the same time as I don't like many of the shows on TV.

Sunday : Simpsons, Family Guy, Cold Case (my dad tapes the simpsons and family guy while I watch Cold Case)
Monday : Two and a Half Men, CSI Miami
Tuesday : NCIS, TAR
Wednesday : The King Of Queens, Yes Dear, CSI NY
Thursday : Survivor, CSI, Without a Trace
Friday : Numb3rs
Saturday : Nothing.

And Big Brother when its on.

Most of it's CBS.

well, i haven't gotten my tv sked down pat, but these are the shows i regularly watch:

tuesday - one tree hill
wednesday - amazing race, american idol perfs
thursday - american idol results
friday - survivor, joan of arcadia
saturday - gilmore girls

weekdays - game knb?, my wife and kids, that's so raven

at other times, i just channel-surf. if i happen to chance upon shows like nigella bites, brini maxwell (she's funny), banzai, or stripperella (very diverse choices, don't you think?), i watch those.

i really don't have to worry much about recording since most of these shows are on cable and they air every show at least twice and in some cases (american idol perfs and results, each) five times!!!
