I don't know how many people in this forum watched Nashville Stars last season (it's basically like American Idol but with country music). Erica Jo was the winner  and she's about to come out with her debut album. I just got a hold of a promotional copy from a friend that works at Universal and I have to say I'm really impressed with it. Does anyone know who she is? What do you think of her? I really like her album. I don't know if they have clips at her website or not, but I'm assuming they do if you want to check it out.

I watched some of nashville star...to be honest, I don't think any were as good as any one from American Idol...Let's just say Ericka is lucky that Carrie decided to go for AI  Wink

I didn't like Erika Jo at all.  from the get go she was my least favorite (of the final 8 or so)

Had Carrie been on Nashville Star, she would  
have literally 'blown the pants' off Erica Jo.
Plus showing off some of her yodeling with it Cool
 
They are two different shows and I'm not  
going to start criticizing or listening to it!  
Both shows are very well done!
AI is one thing, Nashville Star something else entirely.

I know who she is pacific_belle. And with all due respect, she was my least favorite to win.  And I wouldn't buy her album.  I would however buy the runners up.  But that's just my opinion and tastes.  I think she ran with the "female's gotta win this time" card too much.
